Testofen (®)

Resultaten van de studie: Er werd een dubbelblind, gerandomiseerd, placebogecontroleerd klinisch onderzoek bij 60 proefpersonen uitgevoerd met Testofen als enig ingrediënt. De actieve groep vertoonde de volgende voornamelijk statistisch significante resultaten:

Menselijk onderzoek naar Andropauze

Er werd een onderzoek uitgevoerd in Australië met als doel de effectiviteit van Testofen op symptomen van Andropauze te beoordelen. Deze 12 weken durende, single-site, dubbelblinde, gerandomiseerde, kortdurende klinische studie bij mensen werd uitgevoerd bij 120 mannelijke proefpersonen in de leeftijd van 40-75 jaar, die aangaven symptomen van Andropauze (mannelijke menopauze) te hebben en verder als gezond werden beschouwd.

Deelnemers kregen een klinisch gevalideerde vragenlijst (AMS), die bestond uit zeventien vragen in drie subschalen (psychologisch, somatisch en seksueel). Deze vragenlijst hielp om de ernst van de symptomen van Andropauze te meten. Daarnaast werd in deze studie ook de DISF-SR gebruikt om de parameters te meten.

Testofen bleek de normale symptomen van Andropauze in de actieve behandelgroep significant te verminderen op week 6 & 12 in de totale AMS-score en alle subdomeinen (behalve de psychologische subscore), vergeleken met de placebo.

Over het geheel genomen werd aangetoond dat Testofen de normale symptomen van Andropauze effectief vermindert en de seksuele gezondheid verbetert door de opwinding, het seksueel verlangen, de seksuele activiteit en de niveaus van vrij en totaal testosteron aanzienlijk te verhogen.
